Projects
The United Kingdom has more than 100 years tradition in utilising hydro power for electricity generation. The nation’s total installed capacity is about 4 611 MW with estimated 2.4 GW of viable hydropower potential. The vast majority of installed capacity is located in the wet and mountainous regions of Wales and northwest Scotland.
We currently have in operation 4 hydro power plants spread across England, Wales and Scotland. This portfolio includes both high head and low head plants.
We also have numerous projects in development.
